Introduction and access to initial course downloads


Welcome to Resilience and Positive Psychology:

Creating Health Through Happiness

We are delighted to have you with us on this exciting and rewarding journey! Your skills and talents are desperately needed - more so now than ever.

We are grateful that you have enrolled on this course as we know that the Resilience and Positive Psychology techniques you will learn on this course will be invaluable to the people you support. Your contribution to the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing of the nation is inestimable and we are honoured to have you join us!

The course starts at 10am sharp - so please make sure that you are online with us no later than 9.45am so that you can ensure that you are properly set up. Once you are in the 'Zoom Room', you can nip to the loo, grab a cuppa - and just get yourself comfortable.

We aim to finish at 5.30 - however last time we had such a lovely engaged group and we had lots of questions, discussion and so on - so we actually ended at 6.15 - mind you, there were 50 of us in the session! I certainly won't keep you any longer than absolutely necessary.

There will be frequent comfort breaks between each session and a lunch break. We know that the idea of being on a course all day is daunting - but please do be assured that we have set the day up to be engaging and interesting throughout. In fact, you just have to take a look at our many testimonials from previous course attendees to see how much they enjoyed the day!

My top tip for the day: Get your food and drink for the day organised the day before, as this is a fast-moving day and there won't be time for you to pop to the shops on the day.


About this section

In this 'Introduction' section we have several downloads for you that you may want to print off. Some, you may wish to keep in their e-book format. These will be downloadable from the day of the course onwards, for registered attendees only.

Our suggestion would be to print out the everything that you can, however, please be aware that the following file is large. You may want to keep it as an e-resource. However, if you do wish to print it out for your clients please do feel free to do so. (If you are on the Licentiate Level, we believe that you should print it off for your students.)

  • Resilience, Happiness and Success e-Book

Do please download the "Relaxation Response Instructions" and the "Yoga Nidra for Deep Sleep" recordings when you have time - these are great assets that you can use with your clients but they are not needed on the day.

On the day of the training you will see six more presentations and you will receive copies of these after the event that you can use in your work as they form the body of the training.
